| We are pleased to announce important updates & bug fixes to the Housing Society Module for TallyPrime based on the user feedbacks & experiances. |
| These improvements are designed to enhance your society billing experiance, usability and streamline your society operations. |

| 🚀 New Features Added |

| ✅ Opening Balance Import |
| You can now easily import member-wise opening balances along with multiple bill references, making migration from existing billing software to TallyPrime much simpler. |

A Download Sample Excel option has been provided that exports your existing member list in the required format for quick and easy data preparation. |

| ✅ Bill Printing & Bill Register Enhancements |
| To provide greater transparency in interest calculations, a new option has been introduced. |
| New Additions: |

Interest Calculation Basis (Yes/No) option added in Bill Printing to display the detailed interest calculation working on the bill. |

| • |
A new Interest Calculation Basis column has been added in the Bill Register to display the calculation details for each bill. |
|
Note:
This feature is applicable only for newly generated bills and will not display calculation details for bills created before installing this update. |

| ✅ FIFO Receipt Adjustment & Sorting |
| Maintenance receipt adjustment has been enhanced to follow a strict FIFO (First In, First Out) approach. |
| Enhancements: |

Pending interest entries and older outstanding bills will now be displayed first while recording Maintenance Receipt Vouchers. |

| • |
The system will restrict bill selection if pending interest is pending, ensuring correct receipt adjustment as per FIFO principles. |

| ✅ eInvoice Support |
| The module now supports printing of: |

IRN (Invoice Reference Number) |
|
| directly on the maintenance bill if applicable to your society |
|
|
| 🛠Bug Fixes |
|
|
| ✅ Receipt Acknowledgement Printing |
| Resolved an issue where the Receipt Acknowledgement was not printed along with the bill when the previous bill date and receipt date were the same. |
| ✅ Duplicate Bill Prevention |
| While generating bulk maintenance bills, the system will now automatically prevent the creation of duplicate bills for the same member with the same bill date. |
| ✅ Maintenance Charge Update Improvement |
| Resolved an issue where updating bulk maintenance charges for the same maintenance head on the same effective date created duplicate records. |
| The system will now: |

Update the existing record with the latest value. |

Prevent duplicate entries for the same effective date and maintenance head. |

|
| Note |
| We have temporarily disabled bulk WhatsApp message sending option due to increased WhatsApp number ban issues. |
| You may continue to send individual WhatsApp messages from vouchers & ledgers. |
